Description Media Buyer
Widesquare is looking for an energetic, highly motivated professional to
serve as Media Buyer. This position will be a key contributor in
planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns. The
selected candidate will play a key role in accomplishing both long and
short-term goals to support the continued growth of the company.

- Execute the planning, negotiation, and buying of all media

Leverage data to build behavioral audiences for targeting, as well as
develop and implement contextual, look-alikes, and other affinity
groups for targeting

Develop and manage remarketing and retargeting campaigns where
applicable

Perform keyword, industry, and competitor research using Moz, SEMRush,
and other popular online marketing tools

Execute specific tasks such as media buying, digital ad management,
social media content creation, activity reporting, and other
departmental duties as needed

Research current trends and audience preferences for digital,
traditional, and social media, staying abreast of innovative and
unique opportunities

Cultivate and manage relationships with external media and maximize
media opportunities

Identify the target audience for a particular media campaign and
decide how best to communicate to that audience
- Monitor buying strategies

Negotiate with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most
appropriate media spaces in online and print advertising

Ensure that the advertisements run accurately so that the desired
media message is seen and heard by consumers
- Collect and analyze sales and consumer data

Undertake research on industry developments, new opportunities, and
competitors' activity

Analyze the effectiveness of the campaign and use this data to inform
future campaigns.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience and skills:
Minimum of three years’ experience in traditional media buying, digital
media buying, social media, and/or search engine marketing in the
consumer finance
Experience in Facebook Ads & Google Ads.
